Psycho 78 is a tacoma based punk rock band that brings energy and excitment to every show. Mikey Waco is lead vox and guitar, Justin plays bass and contributes backing vox, and Davo is on drums. The band has been together since 2005, but started out life as a two piece consisting of Waco and Davo playin' lots of shows around Tacoma such places hells kitchen, maggie o tooles,the catbox(when it was still that) the cedarwood, and many other venues. justin joined up about a year later to add a little something more. we all come from diffrent parts of the country. Waco bein' from California, Justin from Arkansas and Davo from New Mexico. All to join together to make really rockin' punk rock music. Our influences range from a wide variety of sources. Waco being from a punk rock background with bands such as face to face, supersuckers, bad religon, lagwagon and more. both justin and davo come from mostly a metal background. bands like pantera, slayer, devildriver, lamb of god and many more. psycho 78 takes a diverse approach in creating their music. they realize that there are many musical tastes and they are not afraid to stray from the norm. come to show one night you might be impressed. keep posted at psycho78tacoma.com, and always watch for something new.- Psycho 78 |
